First off, Anya is my Russian name. I am otherwise known as Anna hence the name of my other blog, annasdiabetes.blogspot.com.
I am a happily divorced mother of 2 wonderful daughters, both have graduated from OSU and live in Columbus, Ohio. I am independent and have a DIY nature that I likely have inherited from my father and grandfather but definitely not from my mom. I love taking things apart but have successfully fought this urge off for the most part.
In this blog, I will share my experiences of being on my own and independent. I am a living proof that you can successfully do all these things yourself, without a man nearby. In fact, some men have no clue. Like my brother who doesn't even own a computer or a cell phone.
